Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Philippines Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable professional to manage end-to-end AR lifecycles in Cebu, including billing, cash applications, and collections. You will oversee a team, ensure accuracy, and drive process improvements in a night-shift environment.

The role emphasizes adherence to client processes, performance KPIs, and collaboration with peers and stakeholders to optimize collections and minimize bad debt.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 Years in College.
• Good knowledge of the end-to-end Accounts Receivable lifecycle and will be responsible for AR Customer Setup, Cash App, Billing & Credit control and AR collections and deductions for specific region.

Responsibilities

• Manage & streamline the billing process with appropriate controls and policies applicable.
• Prioritize collection focus, resolve issues, determine write-offs, notify to send to 3rd party collection.
• Review cash applications with minimal unidentified and unapplied.
• Lead Credit Collections Operations team that focuses on managing collection.
• Handle disputed cases and ensure bad debt provisioning is to the minimum.
• Guide the team that is responsible for following up on missing remittances, preparing refund packages with accuracy and supply to clients.
• Record all collections activities consistently as per client process (tool), deliver process requirements to achieve key performance targets, and ensure compliance with internal controls, standards, and regulations.
• Conduct monthly meaningful conversations with team members to discuss performance, coaching and feedback, training needs, and career discussions.
• Monitor & drive team performance, including throughput and quality as per defined metrics.
• Interact with peers and/or management levels with clients or internal stakeholders.
• Provided minimal guidance when determining methods and procedures for new assignments.
• Managing medium-sized teams and/or work efforts at a client or within Cognizant.
• Ensure quality monitoring and audits for process executives to identify areas of improvement for the team or individuals.
• Report KPI/SLA timely.
