Job summary

Cognizant is hiring for an Accounts Receivable professional to manage the end-to-end AR lifecycle, including billing, cash application, and collections for the Cebu region. The role requires night-shift availability and comfort with a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of college, strong Excel proficiency, and excellent English communication. You will interact with clients and internal teams to ensure timely collections and accurate processes.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college education completed.
• Knowledge of end-to-end Accounts Receivable lifecycle (AR) including AR Customer Setup, Cash App, Billing, Credit control and Collections.
• Willing to work in Cebu and during night shift.
• Ability to work in a dynamic night-shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage and streamline the billing process with controls and policies.
• Prioritize collection focus and resolve issues, including writes-offs and 3rd party collections where needed.
• Review cash applications with minimal unidentified amounts.
• Lead Credit Collections Operations to manage collections.
• Handle disputed cases and minimize bad debt provisioning.
• Guide the team for missing remittances, refund packages, and compliance with client processes.
• Conduct monthly coaching and performance discussions with team members.
• Monitor team performance, throughput, and quality according to KPI/SLA.
• Interacts with clients and internal stakeholders as needed.
• Provide guidance on new methods and procedures for assignments.
• Manage medium-sized teams and/or work efforts at Cognizant.
