Job summary

The Valley Bread in the Philippines is seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to oversee AR activities, ensure timely collections, and maintain accurate recording in line with company policies.

You will lead AR staff, monitor aging, resolve billing issues, and provide regular cash-flow reporting to management. A strong background in accounting and ERP systems is essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management, or any financial field.
• 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• 1 to 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience in month-end close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, sales accounting, and revenue recognition principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams, customers, auditors, and management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end AR process: billing, invoicing, collections, cash application, reconciliations.
• Monitor AR aging and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Review credit memos, adjustments, and write-offs per policy.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and payment disputes.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Coordinate with customers and internal departments to collect payments.
• Review and validate sales transactions for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Monitor daily sales reports and reconcile with accounting records.
• Prepare AR and sales-related reports and revenue analyses.
• Train and coach AR staff.
