Abbott Rapid Diagnostics is seeking a Credit & Collections Analyst to manage a complex AR portfolio with a focus on credit memo utilization, reconciliations, and legacy balance cleanup. Qualifications

• 4+ years of college or an associate/bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• 3–5+ years of experience in aged/legacy AR portfolios, reconciliations, or cleanup initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of aged and complex AR balances.
• Apply credit memos to reduce aging and clear balances.
• Perform account-level reconciliations to validate balances.
• Investigate legacy balances and decide on offset, collect, escalate, or write-off.
• Develop segmented resolution strategies for collections.
• Own reduction of AR backlog through structured cleanup approaches.
• Execute targeted collections on valid balances only.
• Identify discrepancies such as unmatched credits or invalid invoices.
• Collaborate with Billing, Operations, and Cash Application to resolve root causes.
• Ensure alignment between account status and financial balances.
• Use Excel to track aging drivers and trends.
• Document actions and resolution status clearly.
• Escalate systemic issues affecting AR accuracy.
• Observe HIPAA confidentiality; other duties as assigned.
