Job summary

Med-Metrix is seeking a Supervisor, Accounts Receivable Services to oversee the AR team, monitor daily workflow, and ensure timely follow-up and accurate hospital and Home Infusion billing.

The role encompasses weekly QA reviews, production reporting, staff training, handling external and internal inquiries, and strict HIPAA compliance to protect PHI while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in hospital business office or similar setting.
• Experience in Hospital/Facility billing and Home Infusion billing.
• Ability to work well individually and in a team environment.
• Reliable, responsible, goal oriented and flexible.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written skills with patients, co-workers, insurers, hospital staff and clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversees AR team daily activities and ensures timely follow up and collections.
• Performs weekly QA reviews of the team’s work and reviews staff productivity.
• Provides weekly productivity updates to AR Analyst and assists with inquiries.
• Maintains reports/logs and ensures HIPAA compliance and PHI protection.
• Trains, monitors, and provides feedback to staff; enforces confidentiality.
• Monitors attendance and PTO usage; ensures security access controls.
• Identifies issues and escalates to manager/director for resolution.
