Job summary

Podean, a leading marketplace agency, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager based in the Philippines to stabilize and scale our order-to-cash operations. You will report to the Controller and lead the AR team across regions.

Responsibilities include owning ageing and collections, defining SOPs, driving automation, and collaborating with Sales, Operations, and external auditors to support high-growth expansion in a PE-backed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive AR or order-to-cash experience including people management.
• Fluent in English business communication.
• Proven track record of owning collections and improving DSO in high-volume environments.
• Experience defining SOPs and internal controls for AR functions.
• Experience with ERP, billing, and reporting systems (QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho).
• Experience with US/global finance teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Background in multi-entity, agency, or professional services settings; PE-backed a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AR team’s workload, KPIs, and performance.
• Define, update, and enforce AR SOPs for invoicing, cash application, collections, and disputes.
• Review and approve client invoices for accuracy and timeliness.
• Own ageing, collections, DSO, and AR reporting to Finance leadership.
• Oversee month-end sales accruals, unbilled revenue, and reconciliations.
• Approve credit memos, write-offs, and new client onboarding per policy.
• Coordinate with Sales/Operations on contract terms and templates.
• Provide collections forecasts and ageing risk assessments for cash flow.
• Drive automation and process improvements across AR processes.
