Job summary

Apollo Global Corporation is hiring an Accounting Assistant to manage end-to-end AR and AP processes within our finance team. You will generate client invoices, monitor receivables, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end close while maintaining organized records for auditing.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of accounting experience, a degree in accounting or related field, and proficiency with cloud accounting platforms and Excel.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in AR/AP or bookkeeping.
• Proficiency with cloud accounting platforms (QB Online, NetSuite, Xero) and Excel is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate and issue client invoices based on milestones, subscriptions, or time-and-materials contracts.
• Monitor open receivables, send reminders, and follow up for collections.
• Reconcile client accounts and process payments (ACH, credit cards, wire).
• Review and code vendor invoices and contractor expense reports.
• Process weekly/bi-weekly payment runs via check, ACH, or wire with proper approvals.
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and billing discrepancies.
• Assist in month-end close with AR/AP aging reports and reconciliations.
• Maintain organized digital records for auditing and tax compliance.
• Support Senior Accountant with ad-hoc reporting and deliverables.
