Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group is seeking an Aquatic Stage Staff to support Aqua Theater shows onboard, including safety diving, rigging, and underwater prop management. The role involves assisting with dive shows and acting as a safety diver in emergencies.

Applicants should have 2–3 years’ experience with stage equipment and a PADI Open Water Diver certification or better. High school completion is preferred and duties require physical capability for underwater tasks.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience with assembly/disassembly of stage equipment and props.
• Background in stage, technical theater and/or production.
• Completion of high school or basic education equivalency preferred.
• PADI Open Water Diver certification or better.

Responsibilities

• Serve as safety diver and communication link during emergencies.
• Assist with setup, operation, and strike of Aqua Theater shows.
• Assemble, maintain, and report issues with SCUBA equipment.
• Perform underwater duties (air support, rigging, prop movement, communication).
• Participate in rescue training.
