Job summary

Aroya Cruises is seeking an experienced Rigging & Automation Technician to ensure safe operation of all automated stage equipment and rigging onboard. You will support the Entertainment Technical Manager and Cruise Director in delivering a remarkable guest experience, manage safety devices, and troubleshoot automation systems as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in rigging and automation on stage or similar environments.
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting of automation systems.
• Willingness to adapt to changing schedules and events.

Responsibilities

• Operate stage automation control system safely during rehearsals and shows.
• Direct all scenic changes and ensure safe, timely completion.
• Provide courteous guest service and resolve queries promptly.
• Maintain safety, grooming, and compliance per company standards.
• Support with inventory, maintenance, and daily venue setup.
