Job summary

RCBC is seeking a Property Valuation professional to conduct inspections, verify requests, and appraise complex properties for loan, sale, and acquisition purposes. The role includes title verification, determining property location, and data gathering for market comparisons.

The successful candidate will have a 4-year degree (Engineering or Real Estate Management) and at least 2 years of property valuation experience, with knowledge of technical aspects and property laws.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year course, preferably with a degree in Engineering or Real Estate Management
• Must have at least 2 years experience in property valuation
• Has appraisal skills, knowledge in technical and property laws

Responsibilities

• Scans and verifies/examines requests for appraisal from various requesting units of the bank as to completeness
• Can appraise complex real properties in various geographical locations
• Conducts title verification to ascertain property ownership
• Establishes exact location of the property subject for appraisal through approved plans
• Inspects the property being presented for collateral, sale or acquisition purposes
• Investigates and gathers market data, comparable prices of properties similar to the one under appraisal
• Analyzes market data and assigns appraisal values to the property being appraised
• Prepares appraisal report and submits it to the appropriate approving authority for review and approval
