Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Applications Engineer in Metro Manila to support B-Line MEPF structural systems from design through project execution. The role emphasizes drawing creation, BOMs, and technical documentation to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective solutions.

You will collaborate with customers, sales teams, and manufacturing while developing 2D/3D drawings and installation details and providing technical recommendations throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in applications engineering, design engineering, drafting, or related technical engineering environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and at least one 3D CAD platform (e.g., SolidWorks or similar).
• Experience with Revit or BIM software.
• Experience developing BOMs, submittal packages, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with MEPF support systems, seismic restraint, and non-structural component support design.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D and 3D engineering drawings, layouts, BOMs, and production documentation.
• Prepare submittal packages and technical quotations to support sales and project execution.
• Review drawings and models for accuracy and constructability.
• Collaborate with customers, sales teams, manufacturing, and engineering stakeholders.
• Investigate technical issues and support field problem resolution.
• Maintain project documentation and contribute to drafting standards.
