Job summary

Megawide Construction Corporation seeks an innovative MEPF Design Engineer to prepare plans, specifications, quantity takeoffs, and indicative costing. You will also create layouts for precast and provide VE support for Mechanical or Electrical systems.

Responsibilities include drafting SD1/SD2, SD2/FCD project prep, quantity take-offs, and review of CDRs. The role requires a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree, 5+ years' experience, and professional licensure in the field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledgeable in MEPF.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion, Photoshop.
• Licensed mechanical or electrical engineer.

Responsibilities

• Drafting & preparation of MEPF schematic drawings (SD1/SD2) in line with MCC procedures.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and costing in BCB format.
• Prepare VE list/presentation for build projects.
• Draft SD2 and FCD project based on CSD model; verify against bid documents.
• Review and comment on Clash Detection Reports (CDRs).
• MEPF Project Coordinator duties and other tasks as assigned by management.

Megawide is currently seeking an innovative and results-driven MEPF Design Engineer who will prepare plans, specifications, quantity takeoffs, and indicative costing. The role also involves preparing layouts for precast and providing technical assistance and value engineering for systems related to Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Design and Works.

Responsibilities

Perform the items below in accordance with MCC standard process and procedures.

Initiation Phase

• Drafting & preparation of MEPF Schematic Drawings (SD1 or SD2).
• Prepares project quantification & costing in BCB format.
• Prepares VE list/presentation for build projects.

Planning Phase

• Drafting & preparation of SD2 and FCD project based on CSD model.
• Prepares Quantity take off & costing for SD2 & FCD and to verify with the bid documents.
• Review & comment on CDR (Clash detection Reports).

Secondary Responsibilities

• MEPF Project Coordinator.
• Other task may be assigned by Management / MEPFT Superior from time to time.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• With a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
• Knowledgeable in MEPF.
• Has skills in AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion, Photoshop
• Licensed mechanical or electrical engineer
