Job summary

Power Mac Center in Pasig, Metro Manila, is seeking an Application Specialist to support business applications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth system operations. You will work closely with users and internal teams to resolve concerns and improve overall efficiency.

Responsibilities include managing the ticketing system, documenting issues, providing user support via phone, email, and Viber (weekend support when needed), escalating complex tickets, and developing user guides and reference

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in Application Support or Application Specialist roles.
• Familiarity with enterprise applications such as SAP, JDA, HRIS, or POS systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Highly organized with excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
• Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies and systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical users.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Assess and troubleshoot application-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Manage and monitor the support ticketing system to track and resolve user concerns.
• Document and maintain records of system issues, bugs, and resolutions within the application.
• Provide user support via phone, email, and Viber, including occasional weekend support when necessary.
• Escalate unresolved support tickets to the Business Application Team when required.
• Take ownership of user concerns and ensure that questions and issues are addressed effectively.
• Develop and maintain user guides, knowledge base articles, and reference materials.
• Perform other tasks as required to support the success of the team and the organization.
