SGS seeks an Application Solution Engineer to align end-to-end process design across corporate IT applications. You will act as a senior techno-functional expert supporting requirement definition and solution delivery.
You will oversee cloud-based integration projects using Azure Integration Services, ensuring security, quality, and adherence to SGS standards. The role requires hands-on Azure experience and strong stakeholder collaboration.

The Application Solution Engineer (ASE) is a cross-functional role within the Corporate Information Technology (IT) team. The ASE is responsible for aligning end-to-end process design across SGS’s corporate IT applications. Acting as a senior techno-functional expert, the ASE supports business stakeholders in defining high-level specifications, anticipating system functionality challenges, and advising on requirement definition and solution delivery.
This role ensures that solutions are standardized, fit-for-purpose, and aligned with SGS and industry best practices. The ASE oversees software development activities, ensuring deliverables meet quality, architectural, and security standards. Responsibilities include validating effort estimates, reviewing third-party proposals, and coordinating development phases.
With deep technical expertise and adherence to market best practices, the ASE ensures that all technical designs—whether developed internally or externally—meet SGS standards, working closely with the Enterprise Architecture team. Additionally, the ASE will lead the design and implementation of cloud-based integration solutions using Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Service Bus, and API Management.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience managing requirements across the full delivery lifecycle.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management).
Experience with hybrid integration and on-premises gateways.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
