Job summary

SGS & Co is seeking a Senior Developer to lead design and implementation of Azure-based integration and data ingestion architectures. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure middleware across CRM, ERP, LIMS and analytics platforms.

You will own end-to-end delivery, develop APIs and data pipelines, and ensure security compliance. Strong communication and leadership are essential in a global, distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in integration, middleware, or data engineering in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure integration and data services.
• Proven experience designing enterprise integration architectures and data ingestion solutions.
• Familiarity with API design (REST/SOAP), messaging patterns and event-driven architecture.

Job Description

Working as part of the Customer Experience Program IT team, you will play a key role in designing, leading and implementing integration and data orchestration solutions across SGS’s digital ecosystem. This strategic initiative relies on seamless connectivity and data flows between core platforms such as Salesforce, LIMS, ERP systems and analytics solutions powered by Azure integration and data services.

As a Senior Developer, you will act as a technical expert and drive the design of scalable, secure and high-performance integration and data ingestion architectures. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects and delivery teams, while contributing to standards, governance and long-term technology strategy.

Architecture & Solution Design

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise integration solutions using Azure services (e.g., Service Bus, Logic Apps, API Management, Azure Functions)
• Design and implement data ingestion and orchestration pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related services
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and data governance frameworks

Delivery & Operations

• Own end-to-end delivery of integration and data pipeline solutions, from design to deployment
• Develop and maintain APIs, messaging solutions and data pipelines across enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, LIMS and analytics solutions)
• Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of middleware and data ingestion solutions
• Support incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for integration and data flow issues

Data & Platform Integration

• Enable reliable data movement across systems to support downstream analytics and reporting use cases
• Work closely with BI and data teams to ensure data availability, consistency, and quality

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms for integration and data pipelines
• Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and enterprise IT policies

Collaboration & Leadership

• Act as a technical reference point for integration and data engineering topics
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
• Manage collaboration with external vendors and delivery partners

DevOps & Automation

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes for integration and data solutions
• Promote DevOps best practices for reliable and efficient delivery

  Additional Information

  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in integration, middleware, or data engineering in enterprise environments
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure integration and data services, including:
    • Azure Integration Services (Service Bus, Logic Apps, API Management)
    • Azure Data Factory (data ingestion, orchestration, pipelines)
    • Azure Functions
  • Proven experience designing enterprise integration architectures and data ingestion solutions
  • Strong knowledge of API design (REST/SOAP), messaging patterns and event-driven architecture
  • Experience with enterprise system integrations (e.g., CRM, ERP, LIMS, Service Management platforms)
  • Familiarity with data platforms, data modeling concepts, and data lifecycle management
  • Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, version control, automation pipelines)
  • Understanding of security practices (authentication, authorization, identity management, data protection)
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) and application lifecycle management
