About the Role

Azure Cloud Engineer with expertise in Cloud Engineering and DevOps. Working in EY Digital Engineering, supporting cloud‑based services on Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with senior engineers and project leads to understand business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Support the setup and basic administration of Azure DevOps projects.
• Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for applications hosted on premises or in Azure.
• Help configure CI/CD pipelines for different technologies such as Java, .NET, SQL, and Power Platform.
• Support integration of basic security tools in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., SonarCloud).
• Write simple automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI under guidance.
• Assist in infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or Bicep.
• Work with various tools to support solution orchestration tasks.
• Help develop and maintain small cloud components on Azure (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API integrations, etc).

Qualifications & Skills

• Development experience using Angular/React or .NET.
• Exposure to Java or Spring Framework is a plus.
• Familiarity with containers (Docker).
• Strong interest in cloud development on Azure (Logic Apps, Functions, APIM, Kubernetes, etc).
• Experience on Azure SDK & CLI.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and hands‑on practice using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform or Bicep).
• Working experience on Azure PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS.
• Awareness of cloud security best practices.
• Interest in API development and integration.
• Exposure to SDLC and agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with Azure SQL, Azure Logic Apps, Functions, APIM, Web Apps.
• Hands‑on in Azure DevOps, Terraform/Bicep, Kubernetes, Angular/React and .NET.
• Understanding of containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes or AKS.
• Infrastructure automation experience on Terraform or Bicep.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
