Job summary

Lightspeed is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Manila team. You will manage payroll delivery across APAC, processing Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines, while coordinating with external providers in the Philippines and driving improvements in payroll operations.

You will work with iPayroll, Xero, and Workday, ensuring compliance and timely payments, and providing support to employees and internal stakeholders in a highly confidential environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-country payroll (APAC) is required.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, leave entitlements, and tax.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll across Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines with accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform payroll validations, reconciliations, and reporting with Finance for month-end close.
• Provide timely, confidential support to employees and stakeholders on payroll queries.
• Maintain payroll data across systems (payroll, HRIS, finance) and support audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and reporting enhancements.
• Collaborate with Payroll, People & Culture, Finance, and external providers to ensure smooth operations across APAC.
