Job summary

DHL Group in Makati City, Philippines, seeks an immediate, full-time Legal Counsel to lead and coordinate legal support across DHL’s APAC region. You will develop processes to identify risks, advise management, and ensure compliance with laws while supporting contracts, negotiations, and disputes.

Manage stakeholder relations and external counsel, contribute to global/regional strategies, and provide training on key legal issues. Requires a university law degree and 4 years of practice.

Qualifications

• 4 years of legal practice in commercial law or in-house
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to apply legal knowledge to business decisions
• Budgeting and cost control experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement legal processes to identify and mitigate risks
• Provide strategic legal advice to DHL group in the Philippines
• Manage legal matters with limited supervision
• Ensure contracts reflect business objectives and minimize risk
• Defend DHL's legal interests in litigation and claims
• Collaborate with auditors and regulatory authorities
