Job summary

Smartly is seeking a proactive IT Support Specialist to strengthen our Global IT team, delivering hands-on and remote technical support to employees across APAC. You will troubleshoot macOS and Windows, manage IAM and device provisioning, and collaborate with a globally distributed team to improve support processes.

The role emphasizes early-morning APAC coverage for Australia, Singapore, the Philippines, India and China, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT Support, Service Desk, or IT Operations.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting with macOS and Windows in a corporate environment.
• Experience with identity and access management including provisioning, SSO, MFA, and permissions.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
• Experience using IT ticketing systems and managing priorities to resolution.
• Solid networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi‑Fi.
• Experience with endpoint management, device security, and IT compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication and a customer-service mindset.
• Ability to work independently and with a globally distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional IT support across APAC with focus on early Australian and SE Asia hours.
• Troubleshoot macOS, Windows, mobile devices, hardware, software, networking and applications.
• Own IT tickets from initial investigation to resolution with proper documentation and follow‑through.
• Coordinate device provisioning, account creation, access management and asset returns during onboarding/offboarding.
• Assist with Google Workspace, IAM, endpoint management and internal IT platforms.
• Support regional offices and leadership with professional and timely IT assistance.
• Collaborate with IT colleagues across APAC/EMEA/AMER for communication and escalations.
• Maintain documentation, contribute to knowledge base, and suggest process improvements.
• Investigate issues proactively and escalate complex cases when needed.
