Job summary

Arup is seeking a Credit and Control Analyst to manage accounts receivable and credit control across APAC. You will oversee invoicing, cash application, refunds, andpayments, while proactively pursuing overdue accounts and resolving client disputes.

The role requires 3+ years in AR or credit control, fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese and English, and strong Excel/JDE skills. Collaboration with project teams and tax advisors will be routine.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Accounts Receivable or Credit Control role.
• Strong command of Mandarin or Cantonese (spoken and written) and English are required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of JDE preferred.
• Strong planning, organisation, and time-management skills.
• Inquisitive, analytical approach with sound judgement and decision-making.
• Good commercial awareness and focus on process efficiency.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently at all levels.
• Team-oriented, self-aware, and accountable, with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable & Administration: Recordings and banking of cheques, review unallocated cash, refunds to clients, and invoice approvals.
• Credit Control: Follow up on unpaid invoices, handle client queries, manage the AR inbox, perform credit checks, and support cashflow initiatives.
• Support month-end closing and liaise with tax consultants; assist with ad hoc finance tasks.
