Job summary

Arup is seeking a Billing Assistant Manager in Manila to lead a billing team and drive invoicing targets across the APAC region. You will review contracts, maintain contract records, and prepare monthly forecast invoicing in collaboration with project teams.

The role requires a finance/accounting degree with 6–8 years of relevant experience and at least 2 years in supervision, plus strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. A shared services background is preferred.

• 6–8 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the billing team to achieve invoicing targets for the APAC region.
• Review contracts for job numbers, progressions, and invoicing terms.
• Maintain records of contracts, variations, payment schedules, and client correspondence.
• Prepare monthly forecast invoicing and discuss with project teams.
• Follow up on invoicing gaps and ensure alignment with monthly targets.
• Review aged WIP and coordinate recovery actions with group leaders.
• Oversee credit notes and supporting documents prior to approval.
• Collaborate with People and Payroll for government site invoices, salary and allowances calculations.
• Respond to client invoicing inquiries professionally and timely.
• Identify automation opportunities and continuously improve invoicing processes.
• Provide monthly/weekly invoicing and accounts receivable reports.
