Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily functions of a team of 2–7 within the Accounts Payable and Expense department.
  • Support the establishment and maintenance of a stringent control environment aligned with internal framework and global policy.
  • Supervise invoice processing to ensure bills and reimbursements are settled accurately and on time.
  • Communicate with internal/external stakeholders to resolve escalated invoice discrepancies.
  • Review payment proposals for electronic transfers, checks, and wires per global policy.
  • Resolve escalated payment issues with stakeholders.
  • Address escalated AP inquiries from vendors and internal teams.
  • Lead AP reports as requested by AP and T&E Manager.
  • Manage audit of employee expense reports using the Concur system.
  • Perform periodic expense compliance audits per local/global policies.
  • Develop and maintain training materials on expense policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate periodic Concur reports to provide KPIs and drive process improvements.
  • Train, mentor, and assess AP and T&E analysts.
  • Foster and maintain strong vendor relationships.

Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled AP and T&E Senior Analyst within our Global Business Services (GBS). This role will be responsible for overseeing operations of a small team within the Accounts Payable and Expense department, which encompasses invoice verification, payment authorizations, auditing employee expense reports, and managing corporate credit cards. It involves supervising AP and T&E team members, ensuring adherence to designed processes and controls.

Accountabilities
  • Oversee the daily functions of a team of 2 – 7 within the Accounts Payable and Expense department
  • Support the establishment and maintenance of a stringent control environment that aligns with the company's internal control framework and global policy
  • Supervise and assist with invoice processing to ensure that all bills and employee reimbursements are settled accurately and on time
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve escalated invoice discrepancies
  • Review payment proposals for electronic transfers, checks, and wires, adhering to the global policy
  • Resolve escalated payment issues while collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Address escalated AP inquiries from vendors and internal teams
  • Lead developing and communicating AP reports as requested by the AP and T&E Manager
  • Manage the audit of employee expense reports in accordance with our global policy, utilizing the Concur expense system
  • Perform periodic expense compliance audits to ensure the integrity of expense payments in alignment with local and global policies
  • Develop and maintain training materials and resources for employees regarding expense policies and procedures
  • Evaluate periodic reports from Concur to provide KPIs and facilitate the continuous improvement of expense reimbursement processes
  • Train, mentor, and assess the performance of AP and T&E analysts
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with vendors and other stakeholders
Essential:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 4 – 7 years of relevant experience in accounts payable, expense auditing, or financial management
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to work under tight deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced team environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Fast learner of technology and coachable
Preferred:
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field or Chartered Accountant designation
Technical Skills and Knowledge
Essential:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with financial software and Oracle
  • Solid understanding of payables and expense processes and best practices
Languages
  • Philippines: Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one additional language (Thai, Mandarin, German, or Spanish), both spoken and written, is required
