Job summary

Copeland Philippines, Inc is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will perform bank reconciliations, balance sheet analysis, fixed asset accounting and audit support, while upholding internal controls and GAAP standards.

This role collaborates with cross-functional partners to deliver timely financial insights and supports the month-end close process in a blended work arrangement from Quezon City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or any Accounting-related field.
• At least 2 years of work experience in general accounting, primarily in General Ledger functions such as bank and balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets accounting, and audit support.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and GAAP.
• Proficiency in ERP applications, including Oracle and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliation to protect the organization's assets and verify cash transactions.
• Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy through vouching for source details and resolving discrepancies.
• Generate reports and perform account analysis to resolve mis-recordings before the finalization of financial statements.
• Collaborate with various partners for critical financial deliverables and maintain an audit trail of supporting documents.
• Handle Fixed Asset Accounting, including asset recognition, depreciation, transfer, retirement, and write-off.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP, CP&P policies.

General Ledger Accountant – Job Overview

By joining us as a General Ledger Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will be responsible for performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and ensuring compliance with internal controls. Key Responsibilities

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
