Job summary

Sealed Air seeks a Senior Planner for ANZ to lead integrated planning for Australia and New Zealand, driving demand and supply alignment, S&OP execution, and inventory performance across regions. You will coordinate procurement and outsourcing while partnering with Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, and Logistics to translate strategy into actionable supply plans.

The role requires 5+ years in regional/global supply chain planning, experience leading S&OP processes, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience LEADING Demand & Supply Planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
• Experience managing inventory planning, procurement, and operational planning activities.
• Experience leading outsourcing, external manufacturing, or supplier collaboration initiatives is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a regional or global supply chain environment.
• Prefer APICS CPIM or CSCP certification; Oliver Wight S&OP / Integrated Business Planning training; Lean Six Sigma certification; multi-site manufacturing exposure; digital planning / supply chain transformation experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Demand & Supply Planning for the New Zealand business, ensuring demand, supply, inventory, and capacity plans support customer requirements and business objectives.
• Facilitate the regional Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by aligning commercial demand, supply capabilities, inventory strategies, and financial objectives across key stakeholders.
• Manage inventory planning and performance across raw materials, work-in-process, finished goods, imported products, and equipment to achieve service, inventory, and working capital targets.
• Lead outsourcing and external manufacturing initiatives across Australia and New Zealand, including make-versus-buy evaluations, supplier transitions, governance, and continuous improvement of outsourcing processes.
• Coordinate operational purchasing activities for imported materials and overseas suppliers, ensuring timely material availability, supplier performance, and alignment with production requirements.
• Partner closely with Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Portfolio Management, and Global Planning to proactively identify risks, resolve supply constraints, and ensure execution of business priorities.
• Serve as the primary Supply Chain representative for strategic customers, supporting collaborative planning initiatives, supply chain improvements, and customer service excellence.
• Utilize SAP, planning systems, and business analytics to improve forecast accuracy, inventory performance, planning effectiveness, and operational decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement by standardizing planning processes, improving operational performance, reducing complexity, and implementing Lean and digital planning solutions.
