Job summary

Viventis Search Asia is seeking a Governance Lead to advance the organization’s data, analytics, and AI/ML governance program in the Philippines. You will drive policy updates, risk assessments, and control improvements across the model lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Data Science, Risk, IT, Compliance, and business teams to ensure adherence to BSP regulations and data privacy standards while elevating operational efficiency and governance maturity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, CS, stats, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of governance, process improvement, compliance, controls, or model risk management.
• Strong understanding of data analytics and AI/ML model lifecycles and governance risks.
• Experience in process review, gap analysis, framework design, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with BSP regulations, audit requirements, and data privacy standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controls covering data, analytics, and AI/ML activities.
• Review existing processes across the analytics and model lifecycle, identify gaps, risks, inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Design and implement future-state processes that support compliance, operational efficiency, and business objectives.
• Manage the organization's Model Governance Framework, including model inventory, approval processes, lifecycle management, and control mechanisms.
• Oversee model validation, monitoring, performance tracking, model drift management, and remediation activities.
• Develop and maintain governance-related documentation such as policies, procedures, risk assessments, audit requirements, and governance reports.
• Ensure compliance with BSP regulations, internal risk standards, and Philippine Data Privacy Act requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Data Science, Risk, IT, Compliance, and Business teams to embed governance best practices across operations.
