Responsibilities

• Assist in managing property debt funds and investments for investors.

• Process platform data; maintain data accuracy across investor/investment records.
• Maintain investor and investment databases.
• Prepare fund reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

ANALYST, AUSTRALIAN PROPERTY INVESTMENT OPERATIONS

Reporting to the Manager - Funds Management, this role supports the Funds Operations team across transaction processing, reconciliations, platform data management and fund reporting, ensuring the needs of existing and new investor clients are met.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting in managing numerous types of property debt funds and individual investments for investors


• Daily investment activations and repayments processing


• Financial transactions processing


• Preparing portfolio and cash reconciliations, and investigating and resolving discrepancies


• Preparing cash transfers between fund accounts for review and approval


• Processing platform data and managing data accuracy across investor and investment records


• Maintaining investor and investment database


• Fund reporting for internal and external stakeholders


• Individual investor reporting


• Collating data, assisting in monthly investor reporting, and updating progress reports for different types of investments

About you

• Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, or another quantitative field


• Around 5 years' experience working in financial services, ideally within fund accounting and/or funds operations, or similar


• CA/CPA, CFA or equivalent qualification preferred


• With at least 4-5 years work experience in Australian Property Investment operations


• Demonstrated experience in portfolio and cash reconciliations and transaction processing


• Strong quantitative skills
  
• Excellent attention to detail


• Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, time management


• Good understanding of numbers, and a proficiency with accounting concepts


• Ability to understand and solve complex problems independently


• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, Excel in particular
