Job summary

Alter Domus, a world-leading provider for the alternative investment industry, seeks a finance professional to support day-to-day fund operations and NAV calculations. You will interact with investors and fund managers, ensuring timely reporting and audit management.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in asset management, NAV experience, and full accounting qualifications (ACCA/ISCA/CPA/CA). Fluency in English, strong IT skills, and knowledge of eFront or Yardi are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in asset management, preferably in fund houses or administrators.
• Experience in Private Equity or Real Estate Fund Administration including NAV calculation and tax compliance.
• Fully qualified Accountant (ACCA/ISCA/CPA/CA).

Responsibilities

• Taking care of day-to-day operations of the funds and following up with third parties, including investors and fund managers;
• Preparing and reviewing the funds' periodic NAV calculation and year-end financial statements, management of the audit, and reviewing other fund related reports;
• Handling the fund accounts and preparation of periodic reports and regulatory reports for the fund entities;
• Supporting Managers in ensuring quality work is delivered to the client;
• Pro-actively take on additional responsibilities and tasks as required from time-to-time by your Managers or clients.

Job Description

• Taking care of the day-to-day operations of the funds and following up with third parties, including investors and fund managers;
• Preparing and reviewing the funds’ periodic Net Asset Value calculation and year-end financial statements, management of the audit, and reviewing other fund related reports;
• Handling the fund accounts and preparation of periodic reports and regulatory reports for the fund entities;
• Supporting Managers in ensuring quality work is delivered to the client;
• Pro-actively take on additional responsibilities and tasks as required from time-to-time by your Managers or clients.

Your Profile

• 3 – 5 years of experience working in asset management (preferably in fund houses, fund administrators or the Big 4 etc.);
• Several years of experience in Private Equity or Real Estate Fund Administration including NAV calculation, tax compliance among others;
• Fully qualified Accountant (e.g. ISCA/ACCA/CPAA/AICPA/CA);
• Prior knowledge or experience of working in financial services, especially with alternative investment funds (including Private Equity and Real Estate funds) is desirable;
• You are fluent in written and spoken English.
• You possess team spirit with the ability to work independently using your own initiative when appropriate;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet a range of deadlines;
• You are mature, and detail-oriented;
• High level of IT literacy with strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel and Word;
• Knowledge of eFront and Yardi systems would be a distinct advantage.
• Knowledge of consolidations would be a distinct advantage.
