Job summary

Western Union is seeking an Associate, AML Compliance (Know Your Customer) in Quezon City, Philippines to support customer interactions and AML reviews. The role focuses on interviewing customers by phone, assessing AML knowledge, and ensuring transaction compliance while maintaining high service standards.

The hybrid work arrangement requires a mix of on-site and remote work, with three days in the office weekly.

Qualifications

• AML knowledge and compliance requirements assessment during calls and refunds.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for case reviews.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish for customer interactions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in financial services or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make and receive customer calls to conduct interviews regarding use of Western Union services.
• Assess AML knowledge and compliance requirements for transaction refunds.
• Conduct reviews via phone and/or email and communicate outcomes to customers and agents.
• Follow up on cases previously reviewed by Senior Specialists to obtain required information.
• Review customer information and validate documentation during low-call periods.
• Maintain accuracy, professionalism, and high-quality customer service in all interactions.
• Be available to work night shifts and weekends as required.
