MicroSourcing, based in Eastwood, Quezon City, seeks an Allocations Officer to join the Finance Department on a hybrid, day-shift schedule. The candidate will handle high-volume payment allocations and work closely with the Senior AR Officer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Strong accounting background.
• CAN DO attitude.

• Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot).
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Extract and allocate customer payments to invoices or accounts in the system.
• Review remittance advice, payment amounts, and customer details.
• Resolve discrepancies or unapplied payments with customers or internal teams.
• Maintain records of all payment allocations and adjustments.
• Generate reports on payment allocation status and unapplied cash.
• Ensure compliance with policies and accounting standards during allocation and reconciliation.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing for accounts receivable.
• Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in allocation.
• Ad hoc projects as required.
• Manage Dropbox and distribute emails to the relevant team.

Your Role

We are currently seeking an Accounts Allocation Officer with a positive attitude to join our friendly and dynamic Finance Department. Reporting to the Senior Accounts Receivable Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for payment allocation of accounts receivable in a high volume and fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Extracting bank statement and allocating incoming customer payments accurately to the corresponding invoices or accounts in the accounting system to ensure that payments are properly recorded and reflected.
• Review and verify payment details such as remittance advice, payment amounts, and customer information.
• Resolve discrepancies or unapplied payments by investigating and communicating with customers or internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records of all payment allocations and adjustments.
• Generate regular reports on payment allocation status and unapplied cash
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards during allocation and reconciliation.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
• Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in payment allocation.
• Ad hoc projects as require
• Managing Dropbox on regular basis and distribution of e-mails to relevant team members
