Job summary

KamelMedia is seeking an experienced Airline Reservations & Ticketing Specialist in the Philippines. The role focuses on handling flight reservations, ticketing, rebooking, and passenger inquiries using a GDS.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of hands-on airline reservations experience and strong English communication skills. Responsibilities include using Amadeus/Sabre/Galileo to manage bookings, issue and reissue tickets, and handle refunds, rebookings, and fare rules.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in airline reservations and ticketing.
• Strong experience handling flight bookings and airline ticket issuance.
• Working knowledge of Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or another GDS.
• Experience with PNR management, rebooking, ticket reissuance, fare rules, and refunds.
• Strong spoken and written English.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable handling inbound calls and email support.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and emails related to airline reservations and ticketing.
• Create, modify, and manage flight bookings using a GDS.
• Check flight availability, schedules, fares, and fare rules.
• Create and update PNRs and passenger booking details.
• Issue, reissue, and modify airline tickets.
• Handle rebooking, cancellations, refunds, fare differences, and applicable penalties.
• Assist with baggage, seat assignments, and special service requests.
• Provide accurate information and resolve booking or ticketing concerns.
• Follow airline policies, GDS procedures, and ticketing guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records.
