Job summary

CIIT College of Arts and Technology Inc. invites qualified HVAC technicians to join our facilities team in Metro Manila.

The role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air-conditioning and related electrical systems to ensure reliable operation and safety across campus facilities. Candidates should have TESDA RAC Servicing NC II, 3–5 years of experience, and knowledge of split-type, window-type, and VRF/VRV systems.

Qualifications

• Must have TESDA RAC NC II; NC III preferred.
• 3–5 years of air-conditioning maintenance experience.
• Knowledgeable in HVAC systems including split-type, window-type, and VRF/VRV.
• Skilled in troubleshooting compressors, motors, thermostats, panels, and controls.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance, refrigerant handling, and leaks.
• Familiar with electrical PMS, panel checks, and basic electrical systems.
• Strong safety standards, PPE usage, and maintenance procedures.
• Able to work on shifting schedules (morning or evening).
• Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and related electrical systems for reliability.
• Perform PMS, cleaning filters/coils, and check electrical panels/connections.
• Respond to service requests and FMS tickets promptly.
• Monitor performance and take corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct routine monthly and quarterly inspections of HVAC systems.
• Maintain accurate service logs and maintenance records.
• Ensure safe use of tools and adherence to procedures.
• Assist during major maintenance and coordinate with contractors.
• Recommend parts or system improvements based on issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and documentation standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of air-conditioning, ventilation, and related electrical systems to ensure operational reliability and efficiency
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance (PMS), including cleaning of filters and coils, and checking electrical panels, controls, and connections
• Respond promptly to HVAC-related service requests and Facility Management System (FMS) tickets
• Monitor system performance (temperature, cooling efficiency, and abnormalities) and take appropriate corrective actions
• Conduct routine, monthly, and quarterly inspections of HVAC systems
• Maintain accurate service logs, maintenance records, and reports
• Ensure proper use of tools, materials, and safe work practices at all times
• Support emergency HVAC and electrical concerns, including system breakdowns and urgent repairs
• Assist during major maintenance activities and coordinate with contractors when needed
• Recommend necessary materials, parts, or system improvements based on recurring issues and performance monitoring
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, maintenance procedures, and documentation standards
