Job summary

UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN PHILIPPINES FOUNDATION, INC. is seeking an Aircon Technician to install, inspect, and service air-conditioning and related cooling systems across university facilities in Cebu City.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, knowledge of split-type and window-type systems, and basic electrical understanding. TESDA NC II in RAC is preferred, with emphasis on safety and reliable maintenance.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in air-conditioning installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Must have High School Graduation or Technical/Vocational equivalent.
• TESDA NC II in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning (RAC) preferred.
• Knowledgeable in servicing split-type, window-type AC units and related equipment.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and air-conditioning components.
• Able to use common air-conditioning servicing tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air-conditioning units and related equipment.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance and inspection of air-conditioning systems.
• Diagnose air-conditioning problems and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Clean, service, and replace defective components, parts, and accessories when necessary.
• Check electrical connections, refrigerant levels, drainage systems, compressors, motors, and other components.
• Respond promptly to air-conditioning service requests and facility-related concerns.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Prepare maintenance reports and document completed repair and preventive maintenance activities.
• Observe proper safety procedures when performing technical and maintenance work.
• Coordinate with the Facilities/Maintenance team regarding major repairs and equipment concerns.

About the role
