The AI Technologist – Marketing is a marketing strategist who uses AI as a core part of how they think, research, solve problems, and build solutions.
The role translates marketing, consumer, brand, and business challenges into strategic frameworks and AI-enabled workflows, tools, research systems, and outputs. The ideal candidate is a marketing generalist with strong strategic judgment, analytical thinking, and curiosity for emerging technology, rather than a traditional technologist or software engineer.
Working within the Agentic Engineering Team, the role is expected to independently own the strategic success of assigned projects, collaborate with Business Development and other agency teams, and continuously develop their ability to build AI-enabled solutions through prompt design, AI skills, workflow development, and vibe coding.
The role does not require extensive prior technical experience, but requires a strong willingness to experiment, learn quickly, challenge assumptions, and use AI proactively as part of everyday work.
The role stays up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices and is able to identify new opportunities and strategies for improving overall performance as well as growth.
Understand marketing, brand, consumer, campaign, and business challenges and translate them into clear strategic problems to solve.
Develop strategic frameworks, hypotheses, recommendations, and approaches using a combination of marketing knowledge, research, data, and AI.
Apply a generalist understanding of brand strategy, consumer behavior, digital marketing, content, social, media, research, and campaign effectiveness.
Challenge briefs and assumptions when necessary and recommend alternative approaches when they better address the underlying problem.
Translate ambiguous or incomplete problems into structured questions, frameworks, and actionable solutions.
Develop reusable strategic frameworks, context files, and methodologies that can be applied across teams and client engagements.
Use Generative AI as an everyday tool for research, synthesis, analysis, ideation, strategic development, and problem-solving.
Develop effective prompts, context frameworks, AI skills, and multi-step workflows for
marketing and research applications.
Take ownership of the strategic quality and successful delivery of assigned AI-marketing projects.
Operate independently once objectives, expectations, and direction have been established.
Work closely with Business Development, Strategy, Accounts, Analytics, Creative, and other stakeholders throughout project development and delivery.
Participate in discovery, strategy development, solution design, presentations, deployment, and optimization as required by the engagement.
Communicate progress, risks, recommendations, and decisions clearly to relevant stakeholders.
Escalate technical or feasibility concerns appropriately while independently resolving problems within the role's capability.
Document frameworks, workflows, skills, prompts, and methodologies so work can be maintained and replicated by others.
Demonstrate genuine curiosity toward AI and emerging technology and actively explore how they can improve marketing work.
Show persistence when learning unfamiliar tools or solving problems without an immediately obvious answer.
Experiment independently, iterate quickly, and learn from unsuccessful approaches.
Use AI proactively rather than waiting for prescribed processes or instructions.
Share useful discoveries, workflows, skills, and applications with the wider team.
Stay current with developments in AI, marketing, consumer behavior, digital platforms, and emerging ways of working.
Maintain sound judgment around accuracy, confidentiality, responsible AI use, and human review.
Build and refine AI skills and reusable workflows independently, with technical guidance and training from the Agentic Engineering Team.
Learn and apply vibe-coding approaches to translate strategic frameworks into functional AI-enabled tools and outputs.
Develop automated or AI-assisted research workflows, audience profiling, competitive analysis, campaign analysis, and strategic insight-generation tools.
Work with structured and unstructured information to identify patterns, insights, implications, and opportunities.
Critically evaluate AI-generated outputs rather than accepting them at face value.
Continuously experiment with new AI models, tools, capabilities, and ways of working.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, Behavioral/Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
At least 3–5 years of experience in Marketing Strategy, Brand Strategy, Digital Strategy, Consumer Insights, Advertising, Consulting, Client Strategy, or a similar discipline.

Experience using AI for research, analysis, ideation, workflow improvement, or problem-solving is preferred.
Experience with automation, prompt engineering, AI workflows, coding, APIs, or low-code/no-code tools is advantageous but not required.
