Job summary

MedVirtual is seeking a hands-on AI Enablement & Automation Specialist to drive efficiency through AI-powered solutions, workflow automation, and system integrations. You will work directly with business teams to identify challenges, design scalable automations, and deploy practical AI-enabled workflows across departments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and deploying software automations, system integrations, or AI-assisted business solutions.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, authentication, and application integrations.
• Practical experience with automation platforms such as n8n, Make, Zapier, Power Automate, or similar tools.
• Ability to write, modify, and troubleshoot code using Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or comparable programming languages.
• Working knowledge of databases, data structures, and information exchange between systems.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs or AI platforms into functional business solutions beyond basic end-user AI usage.
• Experience testing, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintaining production automation workflows.
• Understanding of error handling, logging, retry mechanisms, and data validation.
• Ability to analyze business processes and translate operational challenges into technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with department leaders to identify workflow inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI-assisted workflows and automations.
• Integrate business systems using APIs, webhooks, databases, and platforms like n8n, Make, Zapier, Power Automate.
• Develop or modify custom code when existing platforms fall short.
• Implement AI solutions using LLMs such as OpenAI and ChatGPT.
• Support secure integration of company knowledge with AI systems.
• Build monitoring and alerting for errors and inefficiencies.
• Test, troubleshoot, and maintain production automations with robust error handling.
