Job summary

MSCI Inc. in Manila is seeking a meticulous Data Quality Analyst to join our team focused on building and maintaining a high-integrity real estate fund dataset.

You will validate data from diverse sources and automate the data pipeline using AI tools to improve accuracy, timeliness and coverage. You will apply QA frameworks, conduct portfolio quality assessments, and work closely with fund managers and clients to gather information, clarify methodologies and ensure comprehensive documentation

Qualifications

• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
• Familiarity with data-quality frameworks, validation rules and outlier methodologies.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills, written and verbal.
• Comfort with AI tools and daily use of automation tools.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and related data tools.
• Understanding of private fund mechanisms and operations.
• Structured, process-oriented mindset and strong organizational skills.
• Background in data science or related quantitative field is advantageous.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Gather real estate fund information from diverse public sources and directly from fund managers.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity through rigorous validation and QA processes.
• Apply data-quality frameworks, validation rules and outlier detection to safeguard data at record and portfolio level.
• Carry out portfolio quality assessment and flag issues before sign-off and publication.
• Identify, investigate and resolve outliers and anomalies before data publication.
• Communicate with clients and fund managers using standardized questionnaires.
• Make extensive use of AI tools and automation to accelerate data collection and checks.
• Contribute to design and automation of data flow and QA processes.
• Analyze data trends to support data-quality decisions with clear explanations.
• Document processes, controls and validation logic for auditability.
