Job summary

MSCI Hong Kong Limited in Makati, Philippines, is seeking a data quality and AI-driven data professional to join a team building a high-integrity real estate fund dataset. You will gather information from public sources and fund managers, validate data, and automate the data pipeline using AI tools and in-house applications.

You will apply QA frameworks, perform portfolio quality assessments, identify outliers, and communicate with clients.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
• Familiarity with data-quality frameworks and validation rules.
• Excellent client-facing communication, written and verbal.
• Proficiency with AI tools and daily use of automation.
• MS Excel proficiency and familiarity with data/automation tools.
• Understanding private fund mechanisms and operations.
• Structured, process-oriented mindset with strong organization.
• Background in data science or related quantitative field advantageous.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Gather real estate fund information from diverse sources and managers with complete documentation.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous validation.
• Apply data-quality frameworks and outlier-detection methodologies.
• Carry out portfolio quality assessments and resolve issues before publication.
• Identify and resolve data anomalies before publishing.
• Communicate with clients to clarify methodology and gather information.
• Extensively use AI tools to accelerate data collection and checks.
• Design and streamline data flow and automate data collection processes.
• Analyze data trends to support quality decisions and explain findings.
• Document processes, controls and validation logic for auditability.
