Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Data Management Analyst to join its Investment Division. The role focuses on proactive data quality monitoring, governance, and supporting end-to-end investment data processes across cross-functional teams.

You will work on securities master data, data extraction and analysis, and contribute to reporting and dashboards. Requires 3+ years in investment services, degree, Excel and SQL proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in investment management, investment operations, mutual funds/UITF, or similar financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of securities instruments, settlements, and investment operations processes.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Working knowledge of SQL (basic to intermediate) for data validation, extraction, or analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform securities setup - including private securities - within the Security Master database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data
• Identify, investigate, and escalate data discrepancies across order management systems and enterprise data platforms, ensuring timely resolution
• Conduct periodic security master reviews and validate data to support downstream functions such as valuation, performance, reporting, trading, and compliance
• Maintain and enhance data governance processes, including documentation, risk assessment support, and tracking of remediation actions
• Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and analysis to support reporting, dashboards, and business insights
