MSCI Philippines is seeking a data quality professional to join a team building and maintaining a high-integrity real estate fund dataset. You will gather information from public sources and fund managers, validate it, and automate data pipelines using AI tools.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, applying data-quality frameworks, and performing portfolio quality assessment while collaborating with clients and a global team. ASEAN market exposure and learning resources are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with data-quality frameworks and validation rules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort with AI tools and daily automation.
• Strong MS Excel skills for data manipulation.
• Understanding private fund mechanisms is a plus.
• Process-oriented mindset with structured workflows.
• Background in data science or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Gather real estate fund information from diverse public sources and fund managers.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation and QA processes.
• Apply data-quality frameworks and outlier-detection methodologies.
• Carry out portfolio quality assessment and resolve issues before publication.
• Identify and resolve outliers and inconsistencies before data is published.
• Communicate with clients and fund managers to gather details and clarify methodology.
• Make extensive use of AI tools and automation daily.
• Contribute to design and automation of data collection and QA processes.
• Analyse data trends to support quality decisions and explain findings.
• Document processes, controls and validation logic for auditability.
