Job summary

Ensky Corporation in Caloocan is seeking a field-based Technical Support & Troubleshooting engineer with 1–3 years of experience in solar systems. The role covers on-site and remote assistance, diagnostics, and coordinating repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.

You will respond to client inquiries, conduct performance monitoring, and prepare reports. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required; licensure is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Licensed Electrical Engineer is an advantage.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting
  • Respond to client concerns, technical issues, and service requests related to installed solar systems.
  • Conduct system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for system abnormalities or failures.
  • Coordinate repair, replacement, and corrective actions for defective components such as solar panels, inverters, batteries, breakers, and monitoring devices.
  • Provide remote and on-site technical assistance when necessary.
System Monitoring & Performance Checking
  • Monitor solar system performance using monitoring platforms and software.
  • Analyze generation data and identify underperformance issues.
  • Prepare system performance reports and recommendations for corrective action
  • Ensure optimal operation and efficiency of installed solar systems.
Preventive Maintenance
  • Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance inspections for installed solar systems.
  • Ensure maintenance activities are properly documented and completed on time.
  • Coordinate with technical teams for maintenance and servicing requirements.
Warranty & Service Coordination
  • Process warranty claims for defective equipment and coordinate with suppliers or manufacturers.
  • Maintain records of warranties, service reports, and replacement history.
  • Coordinate service schedules with clients and internal technical teams.
Client Relations & Customer Service
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Educate clients regarding proper system operation, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare technical reports, incident reports, maintenance reports, and service documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of service requests, troubleshooting activities, and completed work.
  • Ensure proper filing and updating of client service records.
Coordination & Compliance
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Installation, Sales, and Procurement Departments regarding after-sales concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, electrical safety regulations, and operational procedures.
  • Assist in improving after-sales processes and customer support systems.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field.
  • Licensed Electrical Engineer is an advantage.
  • With experience in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, electrical systems, or aftersales support is preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in solar system troubleshooting, maintenance, and monitoring platforms.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical reporting.
  • Willing to conduct fieldwork and site visits when required.
