An After-Hours HVACR Dispatcher role managing critical overnight calls for a premier commercial and residential HVACR service leader. Operating across both residential and high-stakes commercial sectors—including grocery stores, medical facilities, and cold-storage plants—you will act as the vital overnight anchor, prioritizing emergency calls, managing technician dispatching via real-time GPS tracking, and ensuring smooth shift transitions every morning.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and triage incoming after-hours calls from residential and commercial accounts, distinguishing routine inquiries from urgent refrigeration and system failures.
• Utilize GPS tracking and field management software to route on-call technicians efficiently and minimize emergency response transit times.
• Log precise system symptoms and client incident details to create structured work orders for daytime follow-up.
• Execute emergency escalation protocols when primary on-call technicians are unavailable for high-priority commercial accounts.
• Deliver comprehensive overnight logs and detailed status updates during shift hand-offs to the morning service management team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in HVACR dispatching, trades logistics, or technical field service coordination.
• Strong familiarity with HVAC and commercial refrigeration terminology (e.g., walk-in coolers, chillers, RTUs, and compressors).
• Proficiency with GPS tracking tools and field management software platforms.
• Solid geographic awareness to route and manage field technicians effectively within target service territories.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain composure during high-stress emergency scenarios.
• Background supporting high-stakes commercial accounts such as supermarkets, healthcare centers, or industrial cold-storage facilities.
