Job summary

Godrej Aerospace in India is seeking an experienced Welding & QC Specialist to lead production welding activities, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and maintaining traceability for audits.

The role requires hands-on supervision of welders, adherence to FPY targets, and driving process improvements through RCA and CAPA while coordinating with planning and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma is required.
• Minimum 3 years of aerospace welding/production experience.
• Familiarity with aerospace welding standards (AWS D17.1, AS9100) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welding and weld quality control to ensure compliance with aerospace standards.
• Plan and manage daily welding activities to meet schedules.
• Drive process improvements using RCA and CAPA methodology.
• Lead and mentor welders to maintain safety and quality.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, EMS, OHSAS & ISMS and customer requirements.
