Job summary

Knowles Electronics (Philippines) Corporation in Cebu City is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to optimize assembly and sub-assembly processes. You will monitor and enhance production workflows, support new product introductions, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to meet yield and quality targets.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, Six Sigma knowledge, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
3+ years engineering experience in manufacturing/assembly.
Strong knowledge of Six Sigma.
Background in Program Management.
Background in Yield Management.
Experience with Quality Tools.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Good spoken and written English.
Willing to work at Cebu Light Industrial Park, Basak, Lapu-Lapu City.

Responsibilities

Develops, monitors, and maintains efficient manufacturing processes for assembly and sub-assembly products.
Evaluates existing processes to reduce cost and improve sustainability.
Provides technical support for machines and production lines.
Coordinates with NPI Team for new/revised products and projects.
Drives continuous and breakthrough improvement projects.
Ensures First Pass Yield and Final Yield meet targets.
Leads cost-reduction and Kaizen initiatives.
Oversees transfer and ramp-up of assembly lines and equipment.
Supports Quality Assurance in resolving customer concerns and corrective actions.
Maintains engineering documents and specifications.
Supports SPR and NMR runs and related manufacturing systems.
