Job summary

Knowles Electronics (Philippines) Corporation seeks a Senior Process Engineer to lead process optimization for HHT assembly and sub‑assembly manufacturing and to mentor engineers and technicians.

Responsibilities include FPY/Final Yield targets, hands‑on process support, Kaizen and cost reduction, SPR/NMR qualification, NPI collaboration, Six Sigma DMAIC, and rigorous documentation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years engineering experience in a manufacturing and assembly environment.
• 5+ years leadership experience.
• Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes to meet FPY, Final Yield, and quality targets.
• Provide hands‑on technical support for machines, processes, and production lines.
• Lead process improvement, cost reduction, Kaizen, and Value Creation initiatives.
• Support SPR and NMR runs, including qualification and release of new processes, equipment, and systems.
• Collaborate with the NPI Team on new and redesigned products and technical studies.
• Apply Six Sigma DMAIC and quality tools for investigations, corrective actions, and standardization.
• Maintain core engineering documents (process flows, PFMEA, BOM, work instructions, specs, test files, Lessons Learned).
• Supervise and coach Process Engineers and Technicians; support daily operations with the PE Manager.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Engineer to lead process optimization and continuous improvement for HHT assembly and sub‑assembly manufacturing. This role offers the opportunity to drive yield improvement, cost reduction, and technology‑driven manufacturing excellence while mentoring engineers and technicians.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes to meet FPY, Final Yield, and quality targets

• Provide hands‑on technical support for machines, processes, and production lines

• Lead process improvement, cost reduction, Kaizen, and Value Creation initiatives

• Support SPR and NMR runs, including qualification and release of new processes, equipment, and systems

• Collaborate with the NPI Team on new and redesigned products and technical studies

• Apply Six Sigma DMAIC and quality tools for investigations, corrective actions, and standardization

• Support Quality Assurance in resolving customer issues and implementing CAPA

• Maintain core engineering documents (process flows, PFMEA, BOM, work instructions, specs, test files, Lessons Learned)

• Supervise and coach Process Engineers and Technicians; support daily operations with the PE Manager

• Review inventory disposition (Hold, Past‑due, ENG Test, Scrap) and drive timely resolution

• Conduct training and capability development for engineers and technicians

• Travel occasionally to manufacturing sites, suppliers, and customer locations (local and overseas)

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics & Communications, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering

• 10+ years engineering experience in a manufacturing and assembly environment

• 5+years Leadership experience

• Background in Program Management

• Background in Yield Management

• Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification

Technical Skills & Competencies

• Strong written and spoken English communication skills

• Basic leadership, strong collaboration, and proactive problem‑solving mindset

• Solid knowledge of Six Sigma and quality tools

• Reliable, independent, flexible, and results‑driven team player

• Hands‑on experience with automation and manual assembly equipment, including:

  • Laser welding & ultrasonic welding

  • Barcode systems & auto‑handlers
