Job summary

AXA Philippines is seeking an Director of Actuarial Valuation, Capital Management and Performance Reporting in Makati City. This senior role leads valuation, capital management, reporting and business analysis within the Life division, ensuring accuracy of financial statements and strategic capital optimization.

The role manages a team of 10–12 professionals (3 direct reports) and collaborates with regulators, auditors and senior management to drive growth and maintain compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Institute of Actuaries (UK) or equivalent.
• Minimum 8–10 years of life insurance actuarial experience with progressive leadership.
• Strong modeling, valuation and risk management expertise.
• Experience with capital management frameworks such as ORSA/ICAAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead Actuarial Valuation, Capital Management, Performance Reporting and Business Analysis functions.
• Coordinate with regulator and auditors; ensure regulatory compliance and accounting integrity.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing actuarial team of 10–12 professionals, including 3 direct reports.
• Provide strategic insights to senior management to align actuarial strategies with corporate objectives.
• Prepare actuarial reports (AVR, RBC, QSR, AS, ORSA) for regulatory submission and management review.
