Job summary

AXA Group in Makati City seeks a Director to lead Actuarial Valuation, Capital Management and Performance Reporting. You will oversee data input, valuation results, IFRS17/PFRS4 bases, and regulatory submissions, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will manage a 10–12 person actuarial team, collaborate with regulators and auditors, and guide strategic insights to support growth and shareholder value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (SOA), Institute of Actuaries (UK), or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Actuarial Valuation, Capital Management, Performance Reporting, and Business Analysis functions.
• Coordinate with regulator and auditors and collaborate with senior management to align actuarial strategies with corporate objectives.
• Oversee preparation of actuarial reports for regulatory submission (AVR, RBC, QSR, AS, ORSA) and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Direct capital allocation processes for Life and GI businesses to optimize capital and shareholder value.
• Provide in-depth business analyses to support strategic decisions and profitability initiatives.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing actuarial team and ensure regulatory compliance across activities.

Education
