Job summary

Maxicare is seeking an actuarial-minded professional to support pricing of new products, review existing product performance, and onboard new Actuarial Analysts. You will analyze data from Maxicare systems, communicate results to stakeholders, and assist with regulatory documentation.

The role requires 2–4 years of actuarial experience in health/insurance and strong Excel/Google Apps skills. Collaboration across units and ad hoc project involvement are expected.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of actuarial experience in health, life, or general insurance.
• Educational background in one of the BS programs listed above.
• Proficient in Google Applications and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new Actuarial Analysts and review their reports and deliverables.
• Pricing of new products and communicating results to departments for validation.
• Repricing/renewal analysis of existing products and providing renewal recommendations.
• Prepare required regulatory compliance documents.
• Handle ad hoc projects and other requests as assigned.
