Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable, collections, billing, bookkeeping, or related financial role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, especially about payments or resolving customer concerns.
• Comfortable outbound collection calls and follow-up on balances.
• Organized with good time-management and ability to manage multiple accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor customer accounts, outstanding invoices, and AR aging.
• Follow up with customers regarding balances and upcoming payments.
• Process and apply customer payments to accounts and invoices correctly.
• Prepare and send invoices, reminders, statements, and collection communications.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Claims, and Operations to resolve billing issues.
• Maintain notes and payment records in company systems.
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies between invoices and payments.
• Assist with tracking insurance proceeds and project-related balances when applicable.
