Job summary

Maven Roofing is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage invoicing, collections, and cash flow with close collaboration across Sales, Production, Claims, and Operations. You will resolve outstanding balances and maintain accurate records to keep revenue flowing.

The role requires AR, billing, and bookkeeping experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication. Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar software is a plus; roofing industry experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• Experience in AR, collections, or billing roles.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate financial records.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to outbound collection calls and follow up on balances.
• Organized with multi-account management.
• Experience with CRM, accounting, or project systems.
• Familiar with QuickBooks or similar software.
• Roofing or construction industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor customer accounts, invoices, and AR aging.
• Follow up with customers on balances and upcoming payments.
• Apply customer payments to accounts and invoices.
• Send invoices, reminders, statements, and collection communications.
• Identify overdue accounts and take follow-up action per procedures.
• Communicate with homeowners about balances and payment expectations.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Claims, and Operations to resolve billing issues.
• Maintain notes and records in company systems.
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with tracking insurance proceeds and change orders.
• Escalate issues to leadership when necessary.
• Provide regular AR reporting and maintain confidentiality.
