Job summary

Maven Advantage, Inc is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage invoicing, collections, and customer payments, collaborating with Sales, Production, Claims, and Operations teams to resolve discrepancies and accelerate cash flow.

You will maintain accurate account notes, perform reconciliations, and communicate professionally with homeowners regarding balances and payment expectations, in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable, collections, billing, bookkeeping, or related financial role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for payment discussions.
• Comfortable making outbound collection calls and following up on balances.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and basic financial reporting.
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor customer accounts, invoices, and AR aging.
• Follow up with customers about outstanding balances and upcoming payments.
• Process and apply customer payments to accounts and invoices correctly.
• Prepare and send invoices, reminders, and statements.
• Escalate significantly past-due accounts to leadership when needed.
• Provide regular reporting on outstanding receivables and aging balances.
