Job summary

Wipro Philippines Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Lead to oversee daily AP operations and lead a high-performing team. You will ensure accurate, timely processing of financial transactions while collaborating with clients, customers, and internal stakeholders.

The role emphasizes process improvements, service stabilization, and operational excellence, with oversight of offshore or distributed teams and adherence to controls and procedures.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of experience in Accounts Payable operations.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of people management experience.
• Strong experience in Vendor Master Data Management (VMD).
• Prior experience in a BPO / Shared Services / Global Business Services environment.
• Experience managing offshore, remote, or geographically distributed teams.
• Demonstrated experience working closely with customers and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day Accounts Payable operations, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and within service levels.
• Supervise, coach, and develop AP team members to achieve targets.
• Oversee Vendor Master Data activities, ensuring accuracy and maintenance of information.
• Monitor team performance, productivity, quality, and compliance with processes and controls.
• Collaborate with customers and client stakeholders to address operational needs and escalations.
• Coordinate offshore or distributed teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Identify process gaps and drive improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Support transitions, service stabilization, and process transformation initiatives.
• Prepare and review operational reports and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with policies, client requirements, and AP procedures.
• Handle escalations and provide timely resolutions to issues.
• Work with Finance, Procurement, Vendor Management, and Operations to drive best practices.
